Jack Brown (businessman)
Jack Brown (born October 6, 1986) is an entrepreneur and founder of multiple sales and marketing companies.
Brown was born in the UK and brought up in Northern England and the Isle of Skye in Scotland. Brown's great grandfather was a Macleod of Lewis and a key figure in the Harris Tweed industry. At the age of 19, Brown founded JEB Enterprises Ltd, a sales and marketing company.[1] Two years later, he closed the company and went into sales for GMUK / Provident Insurance, OCS Cannon Hygiene and Marriott, based on the Island of Mallorca, where he met Kevin Deisser the founder of Invest Islands.
Jack Brown worked in Art investment in Hong Kong, before joining forces with Deisser in Invest Islands, who at that time had 3 staff based on the Island of Gili Trawangan. Brown and Deisser founded Asian Island Group HK as a sales arm of Invest Islands designed to help investors navigate through the process of buying land and developing real estate in Lombok, Sumba and Anambas.
Jack Brown's work schedule involves the overseeing of all aspects of Asian Island Group, as well as frequent travel to the development sites, visits to the Invest Islands Foundation Charity projects[2] and plantation field at the foot of Mount Rinjani that will supply fresh fruits and vegetables to Invest Islands Resort in Torok bay which has been designed by WNA Bamboo architects, Charlie Hearn’s Inspiral Design[3] and (tent manufacturer)all of Bali and executed by Mitra which is a national leader in construction throughout Indonesia.[4]
The plans for Jack Brown will be to coordinate and all elements of the resort and developments alongside Kevin Deisser with a view to winning a major name resort management contract such as Six senses, now part of Intercontinental group. Jack Brown believes that choosing this option as opposed to regional management firms will accelerate global marketing and therefore increase occupancy much earlier as well as offering a higher level of maintenance, security, and ROI to the investors involved in the project.
His involvement with the established local Charity Foundation named Invest Islands Foundation aims at making a difference to the environment in Indonesia. Jack Brown's vision is that every member of the local community of Lombok deserves to have access to three major things: education, medical care, and basic amenities.[5]
Aside from Invest Islands Life, Jack Brown is a keen art lover with inspiration from a young age from his Grandmother Mary Fogg a recognized painter and founder member of the Welsh art group. Her paintings are in galleries around the Uk and available on the BBC art archives online. His other main passions are football and playing the guitar. Jack Brown spends his free time visiting relatives in Scotland, in the Invest Islands restaurant Tapaz over on Gili Trawangan and in Barcelona where he had also invested in Property back in 2016.
