Jack Jasinski (born December 4, 2003) is an American soccer player who plays as a defender and midfielder for the Princeton Tigers men's soccer team.
Career
Youth
Jasinski began his youth soccer career with Charlotte Soccer Academy and later spent time at the TOVO Academy in Barcelona before joining the Philadelphia Union Academy in 2018.[1][2]
Philadelphia Union
On July 18, 2020, Jasinski made his professional debut for the Philadelphia Union II, the Union's reserve side in the USL Championship, against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. He came on as a substitute to start the second half.[3]
On August 5, 2020, he scored his first professional goal at age 16, netting the game-winner in a 3–2 victory over the New York Red Bulls II. He scored in the 71st minute while playing forward, then later shifted to left back to help close the game out. At 16 years, 8 months, and 1 day old, he became the youngest player to score for the Philadelphia Union II at the time.[4]
Jasinski joined the Philadelphia Union first team for preseason in Clearwater, Florida, in February 2022. He made his debut as an unsigned academy player in a 1–1 draw against FC Cincinnati.[5]
College & USL League Two
In 2022, Jasinski enrolled at Princeton University and joined the Princeton Tigers men's soccer program in the Ivy League. He made his collegiate debut on September 2, 2022, starting in the season opener against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights men's soccer, where he registered an assist in a 1–1 draw.[2]
In 2024, he helped the Princeton Tigers men's soccer win their first-ever Ivy League men's soccer tournament and was named to the Ivy League All-Tournament Team.[6][7] That season, he led the Ivy League with nine assists, the third-highest single-season total in Princeton Tigers men's soccer history.[8][9] He currently ranks fourth all-time in career assists for Princeton.[9]
Jasinski also played for West Chester United SC in USL League Two, where he served as captain. He won the 2023 Hank Steinbrecher Cup and the 2025 National Amateur Cup with the club.[10][11]
