Mr
Jack Landsmanas is a philanthropist and businessman who currently serves as the CEO of one of Mexico’s leading food industry companies, Corporativo Kosmos. As the head of Corporative Kosmos, and its sub-companies, La Cosmpolitana, Serel and Kol Tov, Landsmanas is responsible for feeding millions of his fellow citizens in regions all across Mexico. As an innovator in the food industry, Landsmanas is always focused on how best to optimize his business. This is why Corporativo Kosmos has grown tremendously under Jack Landsmanas’ stewardship. That constant focus on improvement is why Landsmanas expanded the company to serve canteens, or cafeterias, in 2004, and then further expanded the company in 2008 to include catering and hotel services. Needless to say, Jack Landsmanas is not the kind of person who likes to sit idly by and waits for new business to come to him. If Landsmanas sees a need in the food industry that’s not being met, he jumps at the opportunity to fill it.
In addition to his work in the business sector, Landsmanas is also a tireless supporter of various philanthropic efforts. In 2016 he founded the Pablo Landsmanas Foundation in honor of his grandfather. As founder of the organization, Landsmanas personally donates nearly half a million meals to some of Mexico’s most vulnerable citizens. These include: orphaned children, teenage mothers, and people suffering from addiction. Landsmanas is a big believer in giving back. It’s why he works tirelessly to improve the lives of Mexico’s citizens through the Pablo Landsmanas Foundation.

Early Life[edit]
The story of the Landsmanas Family begins in 1959, when Jack’s grandfather, Pablo Landsmanas, immigrated to Mexico by way of Lithuania. A hardworking man who was eager to learn the food industry, Pablo Landsmanas got in on the ground floor by working as a butcher. After mastering the intricate art of meat cutting, Pablo Landsmanas decided to open his first butcher shop in Mexico City called “La Modelo.” Over time, Pablo Landsmanas grew that single butcher shop into a multi-faceted food industry company that is today called Corporativo Kosmos with the help of his Jack’s father, Elias Landsmanas.
As a boy, Jack Landsmanas learned how to manage a business but also learn the value of giving back from his father Elias Landsmanas. Once Jack was of age he took over Corporativo Kosmos with the goal of building the company into one of the largest companies in Mexico while also including a philanthropic foundation in his grandfather’s name.
Career[edit]
Jack Landsmanas knew he had a big task ahead of him when he took over Corporativo Kosmos—but he was also deeply up to the challenge. As part of his management style, Jack Landsmanas believes that you have to build trust in your employees by also empowering them. Once you’ve gained their trust, as Landsmanas has, you’re free to delegate responsibility. Landsmanas is a true believer in what he calls “empowered delegation,” because by allowing his employees to do their job without any kind of micromanaging, he can focus on building Corporativo Kosmos into an even better company.
Thus, over time, through tireless work and forward thinking vision, Landsmanas grew Corporativo Kosmos into one of the most recognized food industry companies in Mexico. Because of Jack Landsmanas’ leadership, Corporativo Kosmos touches virtually all aspects of Mexican life: from the school lunches it serves day in and day out, to the catering services it provides for hotels. Corporativo Kosmos provides necessary meals to millions of citizens each day, making Jack Landsmanas one of the most impactful CEOs in all of Mexico. But as the saying goes, with great power, comes great responsibility.
When Jack Landsmanas became CEO of Corporativo Kosmos, he dedicated his focus to various philanthropic efforts. With that mindset firmly implanted, Landsmanas founded the Pablo Landsmanas Foundation, which provides much needed food and services to millions of disadvantaged people throughout Mexico. Furthermore, as Founder of the Pablo Landsmanas Foundation, Jack Landsmanas also financially supports numerous schools and various other educations in Mexico. It’s Jack Landsmanas’ core belief, after all, that by giving each child a quality education, you’re giving the necessary tools to have a better life.
Personal Life[edit]
In his personal life, Jack Landsmanas is deeply devoted to numerous philanthropic efforts, primarily his stewardship of the Pablo Landsmanas Foundation. For Jack Landsmanas , giving back is as important to his life as the air he breathes. It’s why his favorite quote from the Pablo Landsmanas Foundation’s mission statement is: “For you, for them, for Mexico.” Helping others is the core component of Jack Landsmanas’ value system—it’s what keeps him going.
In addition to his work with the Pablo Landsmanas Foundation, Jack Landsmanas is also an avid reader. One of his favorite books is Andrew Carnegie’s “The Gospel of Wealth.” Carnegie, who was a 19th Century industrialist, gave away most of his wealth to build charities, universities, libraries, and various other institutions that served the public good. Landsmanas was deeply moved by “The Gospel of Wealth,” and in many ways, Andrew Carnegie reminds Landsmanas a lot of his grandfather, seeing as they were both selfless, empathetic men.
