Taekwon-Do Biography[edit]
Jack Martin started studying the martial art of Taekwon-Do with Choi Hong Hi. He fought a Professional Karate Association (PKA) full contact match as the undercard fight at the Coors Events Center at the University of Colorado, Boulder. The main event was Undefeated World Champion Bill Wallace (martial artist). Martin is a 4th Dan (rank) black belt.
Film Biography[edit]
Martin has been featured in the film "The Rage Within"[1]which he co-wrote with Mike Norris (actor) who also directed it. He was also credited with a role qualifying him to become a member of the Screen Actors Guild from 1999-present. Jack received his first film credit as Assistant Stage combat on this feature film.
Television Biography[edit]
Martin become a Stunt performer for Chuck Norris and eventually worked on two CBS television series, Sons of Thunder and Walker, Texas Ranger from 2000-2001. His television actor/stunt career started on the short lived CBS spin-off 6 episode series Sons of Thunder (TV series) starring Jimmy Wlcek and Marco Sanchez. Also starring Chuck Norris and Clarence Gilyard. Chuck and his brother, Aaron Norris created and were Executive Producers on the Walker, Texas Ranger spin-off. Jack had the opportunity to be Directed and stunt coordinated by Eric Norris and Mike Norris (actor). Jack's 15 episode appearances on Walker, Texas Ranger is tied with martial arts great Robert Wall who played the role of the dreaded O'Hara, in Enter The Dragon with Bruce Lee.
