Jackson Dormio
Jackson Dormio (born March 3, 2009) is an American filmmaker and former artist. His most notable work is a film known as "The City Slickers".[1]
Childhood
Jackson Robert Dormio was born on March 3, 1977, in Rome, New York to Leonard and Shelly Dormio. His family were a group of hockey players[2]; the last "original player" Isaac Dormio, retired in the summer of 1986. In 2000, he experienced the death of his grandfather.[3] As a child, he wrote a comic franchise called Manny's Hotel. Sadly, this was never fully released; a movie in development was abandoned. As he reached his teenage years, he was frustrated that the USSR had invaded another nation; this led him to want to start a coup. He would call this, "The Second October Revolution." After failing twice, he went into film-making again. He would release Bodyguard in 1997, starting his film career.
Career as an artist
At the age of 10, as the AIDS epidemic struck the U.S, Jackson turned to drawing for 3 years. He managed to make 3 drawings; all three would go on to be his favorites. This collection was made in 1998, 1999, and 2000.
