Jacob Kelly Ross Quinlan (born October 27, 1983 in Canada) is a river surfer based in Alberta, Canada. Quinlan has spoken on the topic of river surfing at conferences.[1], events[2][3], forums[4] and is an ambassador for the sport’s development. Quinlan is the co-founder of Surf Anywhere and advocates for river wave parks and the conversion of dangerous dam sites into recreational parks[5]. Quinlan is the Vice President of the Alberta River Surfing Association and has been a community leader for river surfing in Alberta since 2006[6]
