Jacob Mendy (born 27 December 1996) is a Spanish-Gambian footballer who plays as a left-back for National League side Wrexham.
Career[edit]
Mendy was born in Faji Kunda, The Gambia.[2] He spent time in the academy of Atlético Madrid, in 2016, Mendy moved to England at the age of 19, and had to work part-time jobs alongside football, in order to make his dream a reality.
In June 2019, Wealdstone announced the signing of Jacob Mendy.[3]
On 1 July 2022, it was announced that Boreham Wood had activated an unknown buyout clause.[4]
On the 1 August 2022, Wrexham AFC confirmed the signing of Jacob Mendy on a three-year deal on August 1, 2022.[5]
