Jacques Leruez

Jacques Leruez is a French political scientist and author. He is a specialist in the study of British civilization and institutions, an emeritus research director at the CNRS and an associate researcher at the Center for International Studies and Research of the National Foundation for Political Science.[1][2][not in citation given] He is noted for coining the term "stateless nations" with regards to Scotland in his book L'Écosse, une nation sans État. Leruez is the current committee chair of the Association Franco-Ecossaise, a organisation dedicated to "promoting research of the historical links between France and Scotland and the influence that each country exerts on the other".[3]
