Jada Griffin (born September 25, 1999 in Spring Lake, North Carolina ) is an American track and field athlete who specializes in sprinting.

Early Life[edit]

Jada Griffin grew up in North Carolina and attended Overhills High School where she competed in the 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m, 500m, 800m, 5k, shot put and high jump.[1]. She studied and competed at North Carolina State University as of 2017[2] and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University as of 2022[3].

Athletic career[edit]

Griffin gained her first international experience in 2023 when she competed in the US mixed relay over 4x400 meters in 3:19.41 minutes at the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile together with Demarius Smith, Honor Finley, and Richard Kuykendoll as they won the bronze medal behind the teams from the Dominican Republic and Brazil[4]. She also took fifth place in the women's 4x400m relay in 3:35.91 minutes[5]

  • 400 Meter: 51.69s on June 8,2023 in Austin, Texas at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championship.[6]
    • 400 Meters: (Indoor): 53.03s on February 10, 2023 in Clemson, SC at the Tiger Paw Invitational.[6]
