Jaguar Jonze
Deena Lynch (born ...ober 00, 19..), known by her stage name Jaguar Jonze, is an Australian singer, songwriter and artist / performer. : Alternative, Indie, Rock - Brisbane, QLD. A self described " Eastern cowgirl howling at the rising sun " Jonze's artful and colourful style, eclectic vision, searing and soaring but smoke filled vocals, lyrical ability and epic sound are truly memorable. After singing and performing to a live and TV audience and competing in Eurovision – Australia Decides 2020 , the fiercely independent artist was exposed favorably to a far larger and more mainstream ( possibly more mature ) audience. Jonze gained a creditable 6th place in the competition with ‘Rabbit Hole‘ - an original composition by song writers Deena Lynch and Aidan Hogg Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 Jaguar Jonze - Rabbit Hole (Live @ Eurovision Australia Decides 2020) has almost 28,000 views on youtube.
Jonze subsequently embarked on a career profile changing US Tour. Due to the early affects of the COVID-19 pandemic in the US, the tour was unfortunately cut short after only 3 dates were played. After her return to Australia. Jonze was diagnosed positive to the virus and was in isolation for 40 days in recovery
Jonze signed with --- Hill Records and released her debut independent EP DIAMONDS & LIQUID GOLD in 2020, which is being acclaimed commercially and critically. Featuring six striking songs, including four previously released singles such as ‘Rabbit Hole‘, ‘Beijing Baby’, ‘You Got Left Behind’ and ‘Kill Me With Your Love’, Jonze’s EP almost oozes a certain kind of ' buttery goodness '
Named as an ‘Artist To Watch’ by Cool Accidents as well as being a triple J Triple J Unearthed ( JJJ ; ABC )feature artist, Jonze has arrived.

In October of 2019 Jonze was one of four winners selected by Triple J Unearthed to join the lineup at the mighty Falls Festival and Arts Festival - it was announced o n 03 November 2109 that Jonze would join the Byron Bay leg of the festival tour. Further to this success, Jaguar Jones was named a ' feature artist ' on the 18th of November 2019.
With her performance alongside Hermitude for their Triple J Like A Version of Nirvana (band)’s ‘Heart-Shaped Box’, Jonze delivered a unique and masterful take on the 90's grunge classic in the studio. The live production version of this needs to be seen and truly appreciated ( see external links below )
Earlier in 2020 Jaguar Jonze received a music award from QMA Alt-Rock powerhouse Deena Lynch AKA @JaguarJonze , and co writer Tim Tan, with sophomore single ‘Beijing Baby’ has earned the #QldMusicAwards Singer-Songwriter / Folk Award Produced by QMusic, the Queensland Music Awards is a state-wide search for the best songs by Queensland songwriters and musicians.
