Jai Long (born 17 September 1986) is an Australian entrepreneur, author, keynote speaker, photographer, podcast host, and business educator. He is the founder of the business education platform Six Figure Business Map, publishing company Longhouse Press, and marketing platform Sails Funnels, and is a co-founder of the apparel brand Noskin. Long first gained prominence as a wedding photographer through his photography business Free The Bird Photography, later expanding into business coaching and creative entrepreneurship education.[1]

Long has presented workshops and conferences internationally and is known for coaching creative professionals on business strategy, sales, marketing, branding, and entrepreneurship.[2]

Early life and education

Jai Long was born in Australia on 17 September 1986. According to biographical accounts, he experienced an unconventional upbringing that included periods of homelessness, instability, and residence in women's refuges. He left school at age 16 and began an electrical apprenticeship before pursuing entrepreneurship.[3]

Before entering photography, Long operated businesses in hospitality and electrical contracting. One of his early ventures, a café, ended in bankruptcy, an experience he later cited as influential in shaping his business philosophy.[4]

Photography career

Long's introduction to photography began while working in the mining industry in Western Australia in 2010. He later transitioned into wedding photography and founded Free The Bird Photography in 2013.[5]

As a self-taught photographer, Long developed a reputation for wedding and portrait photography. Over the course of his photography career, he photographed more than 500 weddings and conducted workshops throughout Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the United States.[6]
