Early Life
Jairo G Maldonado was born on November 14, 1982, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. At the end of his school career, he developed great talents for music and hairstyling, taking haircuts as a hobby and ended up working at the Level 1 hairdresser (SHE AND HE) in the town of Juana Diaz. At the age of 23, he moved to the USA, specifically to Greenville, South Carolina.
Career
After a few years, he began to educate himself and work on a dream, which today is a reality. A couple of years ago, he opened his own company in downtown Greenville, SC.
His company "Elegance Barber Shop" and his company (Speed Light Films) work with 9 barbers together with him, and two videographers. These barbers also have the opportunity to educate themselves through Jairo, since he is also a Licensed Instructor of the State of Carolina of the South, Certified in "Scalp Micropigmentation" and "Hair Replacement." Elegance Barber Shop has won the city's "Business of the Year" award for 1 year.
They also lead the number one position in the world in "Booksy" as the barber and barbershop with more than 2,000 5-star reviews in the world. Achievements like this have given him the opportunity to be an ambassador for "Booksy," and Wahlpro has been traveling the US to collaborate and work with the brand. "Jairo Style Master Barber" has been the basis for his career to take another turn, being nominated for the Barber Grammys for Barber Expo, opening doors to associate with strong, visionary and high-level brands. They are barbers as well as composers, musicians and barbershops; they have always gone hand in hand, they share a similar vision, the creation of "THE WAVE" aims to change the game by influencing and motivating others.
Jairo has a Barbershop School in mind for April. Jairo's vision as an Entrepreneur is to be able to carry a motivational message with a proposal and great education for the barbershop industry and impact lives with his testimony through speeches.

He has obtained local and international recognition and nominations, which has led him to establish an image of admiration and respect. He has also created a solid company. He is currently signed with the largest companies in the history of the Barbershop in Tools such as Wahl Pro and the Appointment Booksy app company since they are very prominent brands worldwide.
