Jak Wilmot is an American director, writer and co-founder of Atlanta-based studio Disrupt Corporation.[2] Wilmot is known for directing the movies La Camila, Please State Your Name and MiniSquad, and for his online presence under the alias, "Disrupt".[3]

His content creation on YouTube for his company's channel, "Disrupt", has earned him over one million subscribers and nearly 100,000,000 views.[4] His most successful videos, such as "I spent a week in a VR headset, here's what happened", gathered attention across several media outlets,[5][6][7][8] and his creation of virtual reality content for his channel established him as the HTC Vive #14 VR Social Influencer of 2021.[9][10]
