- Legacypac, if this has been deleted a lot, it would need to go through deletion review, unless the new version is significantly different. I'm not seeing good sourcing in this draft. SarahSV (talk) 01:45, 6 December 2018 (UTC)

Joacim Lundberg (born 12 February 1982), known artistically as Jake E, is a Swedish singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the co-founder and one of the former vocalists for Swedish melodic metal band Amaranthe, and founder and lead singer for his own band Cyhra. Not only limited to singing, Jake is also a record producer, radio host, and part-time actor.[1]
Career
Infinity and Dreamland (1997–present)
From Mariestad, Jake started his music career with the heavy/power metal band, Infinity, which started off playing various song covers before they began writing their own material. The band produced two demos; "Crystal Age" in 1998 and "The Call" in 2002, both works where Jake took responsibility for vocals and lyrics.
After performing some major gigs, the band didn't receive any positive traction and shortly went underground, changed their name to Dreamland and some members in the lineup.[2] With their image revamped, the band wrote a handful of songs and recorded demo song "Falling Higher" in 2002 and a 3-track demo titled "Masquerade" in 2003.
The band's official debut Future's Calling, was released in 2005.
with Amaranthe (2008–2009)
In 2008, Jake, along with guitarist Olof Mörck of Dragonland, formed a new band Avalanche. When Elize Ryd and Andreas Solveström of Cipher System and Within Y joined in, the band was now fronted by 3 different vocalists, an approach that was purely coincidental among the members. [3] After drummer Morten Løwe Sørensen, and bassist Johan Andreassen joined in, the band faced legal issues with another band with a similar name and the members were forced to change it in May 2009.[4] The band agreed to change the name to Amaranthe and released their EP Leave Everything Behind under their new name, as well in their future releases.
In early 2011, the band put out two singles "Hunger" and "Rain", and released their debut album Amaranthe via Spinefarm Records. The band produced two music videos, one for the aforementioned song "Hunger" and "Amaranthine". There was also a live video shot for the fourth single '1.000.000 Lightyears'. After performing an extensive tour of 92 shows, the band returned to the studio.
On 25 January 2013, Amaranthe released a new single titled 'The Nexus' and a music video in March from their second album of the same name. The Nexus, which was released on varying dates of March 2013.[5] The album reached 1st in top charts of Sweden and has sold both gold and platinum.[6] It has also reached a peak of 12th on the US Heatseekers charts.[7]
Amaranthe released a new single and video for 'Drop Dead Cynical' in September 2014[8] from their third album, Massive Addictive, released on 21 October 2014.[9] The release of the album was followed by a world tour which spanned 2014 and 2015, and as well as two more videos for 'Digital World' and 'True' and a lyric video for 'Trinity'. After the album's release cycle, the band returned to the studio to work on their next album.
Their fourth album, Maximalism, had a release date set on 21 October 2016 but weeks prior to the release, the band promoted the album and released the first single and music video "That Song" on 4 October, followed by "Fury" on 9 October and "Maximize" on 12 October.
A month after the release of Maximalism, Jake announced that he would take a break from Amaranthe and will not participate in the tour [10] and was temporarily replaced by Nils Molin of Dynazty for live shows. In February 2017, Jake announced that he was permanently leaving the band.[11] Molin became a permanent member in July that year.
CyHra (2017–present)
The same day when he announced his departure from Amaranthe, Jake announced that him and Jesper Strömblad were writing songs together for a new band, which was revealed in March 2017 to be named Cyhra.[12]
Other works
In 2004, Joacim Cans of Swedish power metal band Hammerfall, featured Jake on backing vocals on his 2004 solo album Beyond the Gates. Cans also helped with production for Dreamland's debut album. In addition to working with Cans, Jake did additional vocal work for various HammerFall albums such as Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken (2005), Threshold (2006), No Sacrifice, No Victory (2009), and Built to Last (2016).
In 2005, Jake stepped in as an official, but temporary vocalist for Swedish heavy metal band Dream Evil after Niklas Isfeldt departed from the band due to personal reasons, but returned months later.
