JalebinTM is an online news provider, information and seeks to inform, engage and empower South Sudan. Jalebin is impartial and independent, and every day they create distinctively. "Latest Articles for you" a term used by majority of Jalebin's audience, the definition of that phrase is that everything can be shared meaning that we all have stories to tell and every story is valued in Jalebin hence allowing everyone to share there stories and get it read or heard.

Overview

Jalebin Group LLC (Now known as Jalebin Corp.) operates the Jalebin’s two commercially funded international news services: Jalebin News TV, The 24-hour news television Channel, and the digital platform Jalebin.com (including the News website, a news app, our shop,). Jalebin Media’s goal is to be the best and most trusted news provider in Africa, whilst growing the online audience(Website, Streaming platforms) and operating as a commercially efficient business. commercial operations generate income to invest in new programs and content.

Jalebin mission is “Is to inform, criticize, and stimulate debate, serving all audiences through, high-quality and distinctive output and services” and has a wide range of programmes, content and services for audiences across South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda and the rest of East Africa on television, radio and digitally. Jalebin media was founded in 2019 by three high school student's, their intention was to provide the people of Africa with a means where they can speak freely and share there thoughts. The three students founded eDen Corporates (eDen Corp.). that currently owns Jalebin Media, those three students were Jinubian Ruon (Founder of eDen), Malcolm Kago (Co-founder of eDen), and Mwaruwa mgutu (Co-founder of eDen). The Headquarters of Jalebin Media are headed in Juba, South Sudan.

The Board

They ensure that Jalebin Media delivers its mission and public purposes. The board is let by the Chief Executive Officer of eDen Corp. Jinubian, consists of ten non-executive members, including the chairman, and four executive members including Jalebin’s Director-General, Malcolm, and Editor-in-chief, who chairs the executive committee, Mwaruwa. Four of the non-executive members are specially appointed by the Chief executive officer of eDen Corp. on the recommendation of the regional leader while the other member of the board is appointed by the Jalebin Group Corp. through the Board’s nominations committee.

Staff and Editors

Jalebin media (including the News website, a news app, our shop,) platform comprises of three main categories that include The Contributors, Authors, Editors, Reporters and Journalists.

Contributor[1]: is a developer that contributes in providing website and application features for the Jalebin platform. Due to security reasons and privacy the developers want their details and identify private. The global definition Contributor/Contribute is a person who contributes an article, story, etc., to a newspaper, magazine, or the like.

Author[2]: is a person who writes a novel, poem, essay, etc.; the composer of a literary work, as distinguished from a compiler, translator, editor, or copyist. According to Jalebin, the definition of an author is defined differently where it means the person that writing and sharing articles/stories on the behalf of Jalebin. they're authorized to share and write articles/stories through a limited license that is given to them by the management.
