History
Launched in 2011 as a backyard project inspired by a love for music festivals, Jam in the Van turned into a full-blown business venture for co-founders Jake Cotler, Dave Bell and Louis Peek. The group bought an RV, transformed it into a recording studio and invited bands to perform in the Van while parked outside popular music venues and backstage at music festivals. Since its inception, the company has filmed thousands of bands in remote locations across the United States. New sessions are released every day on the company's YouTube Channel.
Live at JITV
With the COVID-19 pandemic preventing touring and music festivals, Jam in the Van transformed their outdoor space into a socially distanced music and comedy venue. Live events occur weekly, with popular performances from Bill Burr, Sarah Silverman, Craig Robinson (actor), Doug Benson, Nick Kroll, Michael Rapaport, Steve-O, Trevor Wallace, and various other comedians and musicians.
