Jama Mbeki was born in 1948.[1] Jama is the son and last-born of Govan Mbeki and Epainette Mbeki, of four children. Jama is the younger brother of Thabo Mbeki and Moeletsi Mbeki.
He was also an activist, just like his parents and siblings. He was involved with the APLA of the PAC and was killed in February 1982 in Lesotho while attempting to assist the LLA.[2][3]
