Jamal Al Khayat is a Bahraini novelist and short story writer, born in Muharraq, Bahrain, in 1958.[1]

Career path[edit]

Jamal Al-Khayat received his high school diploma from Al-Hidaya Al-Khalifia School in Bahrain, a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Science from King Saud University in Riyadh in 1982, and a higher diploma with distinction from the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial Studies in 1998. He has worked as an employee at Gulf International Bank since 1984 and supervised the website of the family of writers and writers in Bahrain on the Internet. He is a founding and former administrative member of the Al-Ahly Cultural Forum, a founding member of the Bankers Syndicate, a founding and former member of the Bahrain Internet Society, and a founding member of the Al-Fateh Society for National Creativity. He participated in many cultural events and activities inside and outside Bahrain. He represented the Kingdom of Bahrain in the General Secretariat of the sixth session of the Emirates Forum for Gulf Creativity, which was organized by the Emirates Writers Union in November 2015.[1]
