Jameel Farooqui (Born 15 Sep 1987) is a Pakistani Journalist , columnist and an author. Born in Kot Samaba Rahim Yar Khan and raised in Karachi. Farooqui started his career right after his early education with Roshni Television as an anchor back in 2005. His Popularity graph Jumped while he started doing investigative shows as trend setter with CNBC Pakistan (Sarak Kinarey) and Later with Dawn News (Khabardar). He got an absolute popularity kick with another Blockbuster current Affairs program The Editorial with Jameel Farooqui while working with AAP News. He show with Mufti Kifayat Ullah made a tickling sensation with an astonishing revealition of Wiki Jemima ka cousin hai . He currently hosts the Political Talk Show on BOL News.

Personal Life : His grandfather was from a native Village Gujhri (Kot Samaba) Now a town near Rahim Yar Khan District. His Father was a religious Scholar and Principal of Govt Higher Secondary School in Kot Samaba.
Early Education : Jameel Farooqui passed his matriculation from Govt. High School Kot Samaba with a distinction in BI&SE Bahawalpur Which is still a record. He passed his F. Sc from Govt. College Multan with distinction which is still a record. He Graduated in Journalism from Karachi University and Got scholarship from HEC to complete his higher education in IR from USA.

Mr. Farooqui started his career from Roshni TV back in 2005. He holds the previlage of working in almost all the position of news room as a sole Journo. He is the only guy in media industry who is multi tasking as content head, executive producer, reporter, news anchor, Outdoor Anchor, copy editor, Script writer and Political analyst. He has worked with main flag barriers of the industry like SAMAA, CNBC, DAWN News Express News, Aaj News, Neo TV, AAP News and BOL TV
