James McAloon is an English former player and professional football coach. He is currently the head coach of Super League Kerala club Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC.[1][2]

Coaching career

Dhaka Mohammedan

James McAloon became Sean Lane’s assistant at Dhaka Mohammedan in the 2018–19 season. Following the cancellation of the 2019–20 campaign due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh, he renewed his contract alongside Lane for a third successive season.[3] Both eventually parted ways with the club midway through their fourth season, citing club management's interference in planning, recruitment, and team selection.

Thiruvananthapuram Kombans

In September 2025, McAloon took charge as head coach of Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC for the 2025 Super League Kerala season.[4]
