James Patrick Cronin is an American audiobook narrator and stage actor. He is best known for his narration of approximately 200 audiobooks[1] listed on Audible. His first audiobook narration credit was at the age of 12, opposite Christopher Lloyd in the book-on-tape recording of The Pagemaster[2]. He has also played minor roles on television[3] and has performed as a stage actor in the New York and east coast regional theatre scenes[4]. James is the son of actors Beatrice Colen and Patrick Cronin.
James has been nominated for multiple Audie awards, including a double nomination in 2018[5] for his solo narration of Snake Eyes by John Conroe and an ensemble narration of Nevertheless We Persisted by Amy Oestreiche. He was an AudioFile Earphones Award winner for his narration of The Left Brain Speaks, The Right Brain Laughs[6] by Ransom Stephens.
