James Todd Alger (born May 30, 1933, in Morris, Minnesota) is a retired Lutheran minister and the writer of a column 'At Home In The Woods' in the Walker Pilot Independent.[1] His first column was published on July 20th, 2010.[2] A collection of his columns 'At Home In The Woodlands' was published in 2017. [3] [4] His first published book is 'The Legend of Leech Lake' Illustrated by Richard Alger; Publisher, Hummingbird Press, 2005; Length, 29 pages.[5]
