James Wedlock (composer)
James Alexander Wedlock (Born 10 July 1991) is a British film & TV composer, best known for his work on short films.
Biography[edit]
Born in Cambridge and a graduate of the London College of Music, James Alexander Wedlock is a film & TV composer based in London.
Wedlock began his musical career with aspirations of becoming a professional guitarist. However, he soon began to show a keen interest in composition, with a special focus on incidental music. Wedlock studied Music Composition under the tutelage of Simon Rigby, where he completed a number of works for multiple ensembles, most notably a rhapsody in 4 movements for full orchestra. Whilst studying, he developed his proficiency in writing music for the moving image, leading to a collaboration on multiple projects at the Met Film School in London.
Since then, he has become known in particular for his modal style and light touch with the orchestra and varying chamber music combinations.[1]

Concert music[edit]
In addition to his work in film and TV, Wedlock has also written music for the concert hall. This music is published by Editiondb and features his most notable work; 'The Forest' for solo bassoon.[1]
