Jan Sangharsh Dal is regional party from Champaran, Bihar. Started former bureaucrat Gulrez Hoda who is a former member of the Bihar State Planning Board and was also Director at The World Bank and Dalit leader Purnmasi Ram who was elected to Bihar Legislative Assembly consecutively five times from 1990. In 2009 and later was elected a member of parliament to the 15th Lok Sabha to represent dalits, Muslims and the extremely backward castes as also progressive elements in the society who need and deserve an independent voice.^[1]^[2]
