Jan Tullis is a geologist known for her research on the deformation of crustal rocks.

Education and career

Tullis has an A.B. in geology from Carleton College (1965) and a Ph.D. in geology from the University of California, Los Angeles (1971). In 1970, she became a research assistant at Brown University and was named a full professor there in 1989. As of 2021, she is Professor Emerita of Geological Sciences.[1]
