Jan Wieszczycki of Grzymała coat of arms, was a Polish nobleman in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. Between 1666 and 1697, he was a swordbearer of the city of Chernigov, Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth (now Chernihiv, Ukraine). He was a soldier with the rank of towarzysz in Zaporozhian Cossack forces of Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. In 1697, he had voted for Augustus II the Strong to become a king of the Commonwealth.
