Jane Daly is an American actress best known for her roles in Capitol as (Kelly Harper),[1] Mission Impossible III as (Julia's Mother),[2] Beverly Hills 90210 as Dr. Molly Campbell,[3] Star Trek TNG as (Varria),[4] and Bob Clark’s, Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things as (Terry).
Early life
Jane Daly was Miss Teenage Miami in 1963 and a runner-up to Miss Teenage America, performing live on national television at age 15. She was the Mother and Daughter look-alike daughter in the original Ivory Liquid commercial with her mother, Lillian Daly. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami she then appeared in “The Nightwalker”. After signing with with the J. Michael Bloom Agency in New York, she continued her career in national commercials including, Bold Detergent, Pampers, Miller Beer before moving to Los Angeles.
Career
Daly had her first Hollywood movie role in North Dallas Forty with Nick Nolte and Dabney Coleman. She starred in numerous network pilots before being cast as Shelly Granger on the John Conboy soap opera Capitol with Carolyn Jones and Ed Nelson. In network television and movies she had leading roles in In The Line of Duty with James Farantino and Runaway Father with Donna Mills, Family Ties, Who's the Boss?, Moonlighting, LA Law and The Mentalist.
