Janet Brooks Gerloff (also: Janet Brooks-Gerloff, * April 20th 1947 in Kansas, USA; † September 22nd 2008 in Kornelimünster near Aachen, Germany) was an American painter. She studied at University of Northern Colorado where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. In 1972, she moved to Germany, where she married and subsequently lived.

In her work she claimed to be influenced by Prof. Joe Hutchinson, Texas, Pawel Kontny, Denver and Oskar Koller, Nuremberg.[1]

She was honoured by University of Colorado as one of its 1988 honorees for her creative achievement.[2]
