Janet Shearon

Janet Shearon Armstrong was born in 1934 in Wilmette, Illinois[1]. Her parents, Dr. Clarence and Louise Shearon, had three daughters, of which Janet was the youngest[1]. In 1956, Janet married the astronaut, Neil Armstrong, making her his first wife[1][2]. On June 21, 2018, Janet Armstrong died from lung cancer at the age of 84[1][2].
