Janix Mendez (born May 8, 2004)[1] is a pop songwriter and singer. She has been the current winner of her school's singing contest from 2015 to 2017. Mendez moved to New York in 2017 to continue her singing career, in 2021 her first single "Isaiah" was featured on HBO's now-cancelled TV series "Betty"._Tunefind-2|[2] Mendez is now a songwriter and an LGBTQ+ activist.[3]
