Jansatta (Hindi: जनसत्ता) is a Hindi-language daily newspaper published in India by the Indian Express Group.[1] It was started in 1983 with Prabhash Joshi as its first editor.[2]
History
The newspaper was launched in 1983 as part of the Indian Express Group’s expansion into the Hindi press.[1] Prabhash Joshi served as the founding editor until 1995.[2] He was followed by other editors, including Om Thanvi.[3]

Jansatta is published from New Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata, and Chandigarh.[4]
