Early Life[edit]

Jared Guynes was born in Dallas Texas on February 2nd 1984 to parents Mona and Earl Guynes. Moving to Mesquite in 1988, he entered school at age 5 in the Mesquite Independent School District. Jared Guynes graduated from Mesquite High School as a part of the 2002 graduating class. As a teenager he was a member of the school marching band and drum-line, choir, and football team where he was a offensive lineman. In 2001 he was a part of the French Foreign Exchange Program, spending time in Lyon, France. He started filming and editing videos in 2001 on Sony High-8 Camcorders with his friends Brandon Noll and Graeme Varga. During his time in high school Guynes was known for his video making eccentric personality.

Largest Toy Pistol Fight (Jared's Epic Nerf Battle 2016)[edit]

At the conclusion of Jared's Epic Nerf Battle 1, Jared Guynes was awarded the Guinness World Record for the "Largest Toy Pistol Fight".[1] The largest toy pistol fight consists of 2,289 participants and was achieved by Jared’s Epic NERF Battle (USA), at AT&T Stadium, in Arlington, Texas, USA, on 12 March 2016. The participants used at least 4,394 individual NERF blasters during the fight. The purpose of the event was to raise money for Rebuild Rowlett Foundation for Long Term Relief, administered by the Rowlett Chamber of Foundation, and Garland Tornado Relief Fund (Communities Foundation of Texas, Inc.).[2]

Largest Parade of Nissan Cars (Trophy Nissan 2017)[edit]

Following the success of his first Guinness World Record, Guynes was retained by former employer Trophy Nissan of Mesquite Texas to help with strategy and logistics to arrange a world record attempt of their own. The effort was successful. The largest parade of Nissan cars is 250 and was achieved by Trophy Nissan (USA) in Mesquite, Texas, USA, on 7 May 2017. The parade organized by Trophy Nissan as a promotional event. 260 vehicles and drivers registered at the event and 251 vehicles entered the parade, with 250 successfully completing it.[3]

The World Record would go on to be beaten on November 3rd 2019 by Nissan Guam.[4]

The Most Vehicle Windows Tinted in 8 Hours by a Team (XPEL / SunStoppers / Town & Country Ford 2018)[edit]

With two successful mass participation world record attempts under his belt,[2][3] Guynes was once again retained by a private company for strategy and logistics consulting to help arrange an all new Guinness World Record Attempt. The effort was successful. The most vehicle windows tinted in 8 hours by a team is 438, and was achieved by XPEL, SunStoppers, and Town & Country Ford (all USA) in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, on 29 July 2018.[5] A total of 170 vehicles were tinted during the attempt.

Play-Doh Wall of Fame (New York Toy Fair 2019)[edit]

The Play-Doh Wall of Fame is reserved for brands, characters and individuals that have contributed to Hasbro in a historically impactful way. Jared Guynes was inducted at the New York Toy Fair in February of 2019 for his achievements with Jared's Epic Nerf Battle.[6]

Nerf Ultra Champion (New York City 2019)[edit]

In the fall of 2019 Nerf announced a "Nerf Ultra Championship" to herald the release of its new Nerf Ultra One Blaster.[7] The competition was an invitational tournament and featured other Nerf online influencers such as Frank Cooper, Aaron Esser and Sophie Lightning. Celebrity David Dobrik also competed in the competition.[8] After an intense day of filming and compeititon, the 3 finalists were Esser, Cooper and Guynes. In a sudden death match, Guynes was able to hit the most targets, earning him $10,000 and the title of Nerf Ultra Champion.[9]

Jared Guynes lives in Rockwall County, Texas. He is a Toy Collector, Sneaker Head & Pinball Enthusiast. Guynes also enjoys Japanese Manga, Anime, Travel, Arcade Games, & Disney Parks.
