Jasem Soltani (Persian: جاسم سلطانی 21 January 1984 - 01 september 2021)[1] was a player of the Iran national futsal team. His wife's name is Tayebeh Shahriari and his son is Shayan Soltani.
Athlete information[edit]
Jasem Soltani started playing at the age of ten in Shiraz and was one of the Shirazi footballers and former captain of the Sadra Shiraz and Persepolis Tehran teams. He was a member of the national futsal team of Iran in his record. In 2003, he was invited to the national team of Omid Futsal. He has a history of participating in the national futsal team of Iran and Sadra futsal teams, Foolad Gostar Tabriz, Isfahan Giti Pasand Team (runner-up of Iran Premier League), Persepolise Futsal teams Tehran (Persepolis Captain) and Bandar Abbas and futsal Al-Wasl F.C. Emirates and AlArabi - Kuwait[2] in the Premier League. He had futsal in his sports record and he played 2013–14 Iranian Futsal Hazfi Cup. He played twice for the Iran t futsal team in the Futsal World Cup and has two runners-up in the World Cup with the Iran national futsal team.[3]

Soltani died at Sadra Hospital in Shiraz with COVID-19 on 1 September 2021, at age 37.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10]
