Jasmine Sherman
Jasmine Sherman, (born August 17, 1985), is an activist and someone running for a political position. They leads the organization Greater Charlotte Rise.[1] Right now, they are running in the 2024 Green Party presidential primary.[2]

Sherman got a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Phoenix. They also have a master's degree in Finance, also from the University of Phoenix.
Early Life
Jasmine Sherman was born on August 17, 1985, in Queens, New York. They were the first of two children. Their parents, Thomas and Amanda Sherman, worked in the labor force.[3]
They finished high school at Northbridge High School in 2003.
Career
Sherman has worked in top positions at big financial companies like Wells Fargo and Bank of America.[4] They are the boss at Greater Charlotte Rise. They help people find homes fast in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.[3]

On December 2, 2021, Sherman said they were running to be the Green Party's choice for President of the United States.[5] They said their Vice Presidential Candidate would be activist Tanda BluBear.[6]
Green Party of the United States Presidential Primaries
In the primaries, Sherman is on the ballot in 16 of the 20 states. They are in second place, behind Jill Stein. Right now, they have 7 delegates to the 2024 Green Party National Convention.
Sherman has been in all 4 Green Party hosted forums. Besides Jorge Zavala, they are the only candidate to do so.
There best results were in Pennsylvania and Arizona. In Pennsylvania, they got 19.4% of the vote and 3 delegates.[7] In Arizona, they got 23.5% of the vote and 1 delegate.[8]
Peace and Freedom Party Primaries
Sherman was on the ballot in the California Peace and Freedom Primary. It was held on March 5, 2024. Sherman got last place. They got 1,795 votes, which is 13.1%. They lost to Cornel West and Claudia De La Cruz.[9]
The nomination is being decided by a state committee in August.
Green Party of Alaska Primaries
Sherman is one of nine candidates trying to be the Green Party of Alaska’s Presidential Nominee. They faced off in two of the parties debates. They lost the second debate to Brittany Jones.[10]
Unicorn Party Nomination
Sherman helped to create the Unicorn Party, a Socialist/Progressive Party used to get ballot access. The party made them there nominee.
Personal Life
Sherman is Non-Binary and Pansexual. They experienced poverty and the foster care system.[3]
