Jasmine Star
Jasmine Star (born 2003) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and social media personality.[1] She is the host of the online segment 95.5 KLOS Jasmine Jams.[2] Star has accumulated over 21 million channel views on YouTube as of January 2021[3] and in 2020 was named one of the top 5 finalists in the international Young Guitarist of the Year 2020 competition presented by Guitar World.[4]
Career[edit]
Star started playing classical piano since she was three and guitar since she was nine.[5] She was a guest guitarist in the 2019 From Classical to Rock benefit concert, sharing the stage with Mårten Andersson, Chris Broderick, Monte Pittman, and others.[6][7] She was featured on the October 2020 Guitar.com LIVE Main Stage.[8] Star was also featured in the December 2020 issue of Guitar World Magazine.[1] As of December 2020, she now hosts a regular online segment on 95.5 KLOS called Jasmine Jams.[2]
