Jason Cabell is an American Writer and Director born in Chicago, IL and raised in Denver, CO. He is a former active-combat Navy SEAL who served in over 100 countries before he transitioned to Hollywood in early 2013. Though he entered the business as a supporting actor, it did not take long for Jason to establish himself as a multi-faceted creative talent. In 2016, Jason wrote and produced the indie feature Smoke Filled Lungs for Indican Pictures and followed this up by producing the feature film Shockwave Count Down to Disaster for MarVista Entertainment in 2017. In early 2018, cameras rolled on Jason’s directorial debut: a feature film which he also wrote entitled Running with the Devil, starring Nicolas Cage, Laurence Fishburne, Leslie Bibb, Barry Pepper, Adam Goldberg, Clifton Collins Jr, Cole Hauser, and Peter Facinelli. Inspired by Jason’s past experiences in drug enforcement, the film tracks the movement of a cocaine shipment as it passes between southern and northern US borders. Grounded and gritty, with characters that can only be described as “rough around the edges,” the project speaks to many of Jason’s strengths as an ex-military man turned filmmaker.
