Jason Corliss is an American stock car racing driver from Barre, Vermont. He competes primarily in the Late Model division at Thunder Road International Speedbowl, where he is a four–time "King of the Road" track champion (2019, 2020, 2021, 2025).[1] Corliss has also won major regional events including the Vermont Milk Bowl and the American–Canadian Tour's Labor Day Classic at Thunder Road.[2]

Racing career

Thunder Road

Corliss is a four–time "King of the Road" Late Model track champion at Thunder Road, becoming the first driver of the Late Model era to achieve four titles.[1]

He won the championship in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2025.[3]

Corliss has also been a multiple–time winner of the Vermont Milk Bowl, one of the track's most prestigious races.[2]

American–Canadian Tour (ACT)

Outside weekly competition at Thunder Road, Corliss competes in the American-Canadian Tour. He has earned several feature wins on the regional Late Model circuit, including two victories in the ACT Labor Day Classic at Thunder Road (2020, 2025).[2]

Style and reputation

Corliss is known for his consistency and ability to secure points over a full season. Speaking after his fourth championship, he remarked that while some races do not go as planned, "you just have to keep fighting and put yourself in a position to win at the end."[1]

Personal life and early career

Corliss grew up in central Vermont near Thunder Road International Speedbowl, where his parents were active supporters of local racing. He began competing in the Street Stock division in 2005 before moving up the ranks into the Late Model class.[13]

He lives in Barre, Vermont, with his wife, Courtney, and their two children, a son and a daughter.[citation needed]
