Jason Mikels

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Jason Mikels (born Nashville, TN) is a disabled American entertainer[1][2] who performed two TEDx Talks[3][4] about his struggles with Tourette’s Syndrome.[5] He addresses the inequalities of social stigmas related to the disorder.[6] He is also the author of "You Can Do the Impossible" which outlines his success in life despite having the disability.[7] Michaels was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome at age thirteen, yet became an internationally award-winning sleight-of-hand artist and professional speaker.[8] He motivates audiences to see beyond their challenges and self-imposed limitations and inspires them to take action by living bigger, bolder lives with his keynote programs #DOTHEIMPOSSIBLE: RESILIENCE, and #DOTHEIMPOSSIBLE: LIVE B-I-G.[9][10] Jason is the author of "You Can Do the Impossible, Too!," a book details his “impossible” journey of overcoming the debilitating neurological disorder Tourette's Syndrome to become a success in business and in life.[11][12]
