Jason Pirozzolo, DO is a sports medicine and osteopathic medicine physician located in Orlando, Florida..[1]
Education[edit]
Dr. Pirozzolo earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical studies from Penn State University, then earned a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University, completing a clinical externship in Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a residency in Family Medicine at Duke University, and finally a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Ohio State University[2].

Civic Work[edit]
Dr. Pirozzolo was appointed to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Board in 2010 and in 2020[5][6]. He was named Treasurer of the Authority in 2020 by Governor Ron DeSantis[7]. During his tenure, he was a member of the task force which brought direct flights to Orlando from Brazil[8] and part of the team addressing the impact of COVID-19 on operations at Orlando International Airport and Orlando Executive airports[9]
Medical Cannabis[edit]
Dr. Pirozzolo is the co-founder of The American Medical Marijuana Physicians Association[10] which focuses on the increased understanding and acceptance of cannabis as medicine[11]. Dr. Pirozzolo is also a proponent of using cannabidiol (CBD) medicine to address the need for a solution for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) [12]
