Jason Ravnsborg is an American attorney and politician from the state of South Dakota.
Ravnsborg graduated from the University of South Dakota[1] and University of South Dakota School of Law. He works for the law firm Harmelink, Fox & Ravnsborg and is a lieutenant colonel in the United States Army Reserve.[2] He was deployed to Germany in 2003, to Irag in 2004, and to Afghanistan in 2009. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal after coming under enemy fire in Iraq.[1]
Ravnsborg ran for the United States Senate in the 2014 election.[1] In the 2018 elections, Ravnsborg is running for Attorney General of South Dakota. He won the Republican Party nomination and will face former U.S. Attorney Randy Seiler.[3][4]
