Javier Dominguez
Javier Domínguez Gómez, most known as Javier Dominguez (March 9th, 1987) is a professional European Magic: The Gathering player from Spain, two times world champion of Magic: The Gathering.
He is one of the two only players, alongside Shahar Shenhar, to have won the World Championships twice since the competition started in 1994. Dominguez won his first world title in 2018 and his achievement received coverage in the biggest Spanish generalistic newspapers like El País.[1] In 2024, Dominguez repeated the feat winning the finals over the Portuguese player Marcio Carvalho.[2] In addition to his two world titles, Dominguez also reached the finals in 2017,[3] where William Jensen finished as world champion.
