In 1947, the school was founded with the name Jawili Primary School. Made of light materials, the school was built through the collaborative efforts of the tenyente del barrio and the people in the community.
Mr. Juan Daroy, who used banana leaves as paper and coconut midribs as pencils, was the school’s first teacher.
In 1950, the school site was converted from primary to complete elementary school. From then on, the school continued to increase its enrolment with the corresponding increase in number of teachers. Likewise, there were changes in school administration until another milestone happened.
In December 27, 2012, under the management of Mr. Policarpio T. Tibar, Principal I, Jawili Elementary School was again converted and officially renamed Jawili Integrated School, which means that secondary education was established within the campus under one school head.
