Williams he reaching the quarter finalist from Jersey like the Winmau World Youth Masters 1987 who defeating by Germany Ralf Kraschiltzer, Sweden's number one Niklas Dahlin and losing to the American's Bob Preston by 1–3 legs.

Williams he winner of the 1988 Jersey Festival of Darts Youth who defeating by Jersey Dean McNamara by 3–1.

Williams he losing the last 128 of the 1989 Winmau World Masters of American's Len Heard.
