Jean-Claude Rodet (born 1944 in Saint-Vérand, Rhône) is a French-speaking Canadian author, naturopath, trainer and consultant in nutrition. He has a doctorate of agronomic sciences (1977) and an honorary doctorate in natural medicine (2000).[C 1] He is a holistic health practitioner[C 2]

Biography[edit]

Rodet is the dean of academy for foreign affiliations[B 2] to the University of Natural Medicine (Santa Fe) since 2000. And since 2002, he is a member of the International Organic Inspectors Association.[B 3] Rodet has written l'assiette vitalité to preserve life through Anti-aging. Within the Institut International de Ressources Écologiques (IIRE) he gathered a 10,800-book library about ecology and natural medicine.[B 4]

As a traditional Chinese medicine trainer, he states that a physician should be paid only by his healthy patients and according to his successful preventive medicine practice.

In 2004, Rodet acknowledged guilt relating to charges that he had misrepresented himself as an agronomist (in French, usurpation du titre d'agronome). The Ordre des agronomes du Québec (Order of Agronomists of Québec, OAQ) found that Rodet and imposed a fine of $600. In its judgment, the OAQ noted that it had, in 1990, refused to recognize diplomas Rodet had obtained outside Canada.[3]
