The Jean McDonough Arts Center, also known as JMAC in Worcester, Massachusetts, is a regional community arts organization serving Central Massachusetts. It has been in existence since 1999.[1] JMAC is operated in partnership with the Hanover Theatre & Conservancy for the Performing Arts.[2] JMAC was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1999. The Jean McDonough Arts Center is roughly divided in half with Pop-Up Worcester taking up the first half of the building. It is essentially an extensive hallway providing access to the second half of the building, the Brickbox Theater. The capacity for Pop-Up Worcester is 103, while The Brickbox Theater is 175.
