Jeff A. Stevens (born in 1963) is an American businessman in the oil industry.[1]

Employment history[edit]

Stevens has more than two-and-a-half decades of experience in the oil-based industry. Before taking on his current roles at Western Refining, he held other key roles including: Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. Before his work at Western Refining, Stevens held the roles of: Senior Vice President of Supply and Marketing (Giant Industries, Inc.), VP of Supply and Marketing (Phoenix Fuel) Director (Northern Tier Energy GP LLC), General Partner (Northern Tier Energy LP).[2]

Current executive roles[edit]

Stevens is the Director, President, Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Western Refining, Inc. He has held these positions since 2005, 2009 and 2010 respectively. He also holds these key roles at: Giant Four Corners, Inc., Giant Stop-N-Go Of New Mexico, Inc., Western Refining Yorktown Holding Company, Western Refining GP, LLC, and San Juan Refining Company, Vomaris Innovations, Inc.[3]

Personal life[edit]

Born in Phoenix, Jeff is married to Sharon Stevens[4] and the couple have two children. The couple met while studying at the University of Arizona in the early 1980s.[5] Today they live in Paradise Valley, Arizona.

Together with his wife, Stevens works in philanthropy, especially via the University of Arizona.[6] In 2009 the couple donated $10 million to University of Arizona Athletics. The Lowell-Stevens Football Facility on the UA campus is partially named after the Stevens family.[7]
