Jeff J Brown

Jeff J Brown is a dual national French-American author, who has authored and released books on genres relating mainly to contemporary and historical China. He runs a podcast called China Rising Radio Sinoland[1], where apart from interviewing, he shares content and speaks about interests in China.

Two of Jeff’s main books include 44 Days (2013)[2] and Red Letters – The Diaries of Xi Jinping[3] (released late 2016).  44 Days is a book where he has shared insights about China from the view of a traveler.  Red Letters – The Diaries of Xi Jinping is a historical fiction book, based on the life of Xi Jinping.

Jeff is a contributing editor with the Greanville Post[4], where he keeps a monthly column, Dispatch from Beijing[5]. He also writes a monthly column for The Saker[6], called the Moscow-Beijing Express.

Jeff has been a speaker at TEDx, the Bookworm and Capital M Literary Festivals, the Hutong and has been featured in an 18-part series of interviews on Radio Beijing AM774[7], with former BBC journalist, Bruce Connolly.  Jeff has also guest lectured at international schools in Beijing and Tianjin. Currently, he teaches in an international school in China.
