Jeffree Star Cosmetics is an American cosmetic company founded and owned by Jeffree Star.[1] The brand has been renowned for it's quality of lip kits[2] and pigmentation of their eye shadow palette guaranteeing the
quality products they can source. All products are both vegan and gluten-free.[3] He invested his life savings to start his makeup line with an initial three liquid lip colors.[4]

In 2014, Jeffree Star launched his makeup line with his life savings.[5] Inspiration for the debut product, the lip kits, were that Jeffree star adored lips.[6] He also said that other kits on the market at that point were too patchy and too dry. It took him six months in a makeup lap to perfect his formula. Jeffree has also emphasized how his products are all advertised through his YouTube channel or by word of mouth, there is no commercials. The reported income of the company is in the millions,[7] as shown by the lavish lifestyle of Star - showing he earns a hefty salary.[8] He also has multiple warehouses for production and the products are shipped worldwide. This is not an easy task, and thus we can see his company has large scale operations.

Jeffree Star has collaborated with fellow internet celebrity and influencer, Manny Mua, on a collection for his company.[10] The collection was made through Star's company, to produce products for their collaboration. The products were heavily teased on social media for months before the launch, and was announced on their YouTube channels in a joint-video.[11] However, the line was criticsed for being less bold than usual for the company, but was still very pretty and wearable.[12] Jeffree has also released multiple collections of products, specifically his Summer and Holiday collections which have been released yearly. The most recent being his Thirsty Collection, for Summer 2018.
