Jeffrey A. Robinson, Ph.D. is an accomplished business school professor, international speaker, and entrepreneur. He has made significant contributions in the following areas:
Academic Leadership at Rutgers[edit]
Since 2008, he has been a leading faculty member at Rutgers Business School where he holds the Prudential Chair in Business and is a professor of management and entrepreneurship. As the Academic Director of The Center for Urban Entrepreneurship & Economic Development, he actively contributes to fostering entrepreneurship and economic growth. He is also a research fellow of the Rutgers Advanced Institute for the Study of Entrepreneurship and Development.
On July 1, 2023, Dr. Robinson he was appointed by Chancellor Nancy Cantor as the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor of Rutgers-University-Newark.

He holds Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Management & Entrepreneurship from the Gradate School of Columbia University.
Early Life[edit]
Dr. Robinson was born in East Orange, New Jersey. His parent moved to Parsippany, New Jersey when he was two years old. He attended Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Schools from K to 12th grade and graduated from Parsippany Hills High School in 1989.
