Jemima Longcake
Jemima Rose Elysia Helene Longcake (born January 8, 2002, Chester, England) is an English intersectional activist, public speaker, and creator. She has appeared at events including Kendal Mountain Festival.[1], Kendal Climate Change Citizens' Jury[2], and published work through The Oxford Scientist[3]. Her work centres around both local and global action, and she has spoken out about issues within her home county of Cumbria, including poverty at local town discussions[4], on social media[5], and through her work as a Campaign Champion with The Children's Society[6].
In 2020 she was longlisted for The National Poetry Competition[7].
She represented the UK at MockCOP26 in 2020[8]
